The  ICT Diploma in Information Technology  opens up an avenue for students who want to pursue their tertiary education en route to a Bachelor degree in Information Technology from Universiti Utara Malaysia.  Throughout the course, a rigorous program encompassing the basic aspects of Information Technology which comprises the practical and theoretical parts, to ensure students are groomed with skills and knowledge relevant to the Bachelor Degree level.

Students can complete the diploma within three (3)  academic years, comprising of six (6) semesters , after which, they may proceed to complete the degree in Information Technology  within  four (4) to six (6) semesters (two academic years) at Universiti Utara Malaysia’s campus itself.

Annual intakes are in JUNE and OCTOBER.  Application forms are available at ICT.  Completed application forms must be forwarded with a RM20.00 non returnable processing  fee.

    Pass SPM/SPMV

   Obtained 4 Credits including Bahasa Malaysia at SPM/SPMV level

   Pass Mathematics at SPM/SPMV level OR

   Certificate in Information Technology - ICT

Since this program is in collaboration with Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), UUM functions as the primary monitoring party. Quality control extends to cover the quality of the courses taught and their related evaluation process.  Universiti Utara Malaysia will also assign a lecturer to act as supervisor of  the course.
